Write for us

We welcome pitches from rugby players, supporters, volunteers and curious observers who can explain a subject with care. A useful contribution gives readers a fresh way to understand the game without assuming expert knowledge.

What we welcome

Pitch clear, original pieces about rugby skills, training habits, teamwork, club life or matchday customs. Explanations, thoughtful comparisons, background pieces and occasion-specific guides can all work if they have one focused point and remain useful beyond a single news cycle.

A good pitch

Tell us the proposed subject, the main idea readers will take away and why you are well placed to write about it. Flag any claims that need particular context, and say whether the piece depends on a specific competition or location. We do not need a finished article to consider a proposal.

Where to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page, choosing the editorial option and including a short outline. Please do not send confidential team information or assume that a pitch has been accepted until we reply.
